Six ways to move. One philosophy.
All our activities share the same starting point: listening to your body, understanding how it works, and teaching you to use it better. It doesn’t matter if it’s your first class or you’ve been practising for years.
OUR CLASSES
PILATES REFORMER
The Reformer is the most iconic Pilates machine. It’s a precision tool that, thanks to its system of pulleys and springs, lets you work the whole body effectively and safely.
At Alicia Pilates we work with the STOTT PILATES® method, one of the world’s leading references in contemporary Pilates. That means every exercise is grounded in modern biomechanical principles: alignment, breathing, core stability, mobility and coordination.
The Reformer is especially valuable if you have injuries, back problems, or simply want a more personalised practice. Spring resistance adapts to your level, making it accessible for beginners and challenging for those with more experience.
Who is it for?
Who is it for? For everyone. No matter your level, your age, or whether you’ve ever done Pilates before. If you have an injury or a specific condition, let us know before you start: we’ll take it into account from the very first exercise.
PILATES MAT
Mat Pilates is the foundation of everything. Mat Pilates is the foundation of everything. This is where you learn to breathe properly, activate your centre, and align your spine. It’s more demanding than it looks and more rewarding than you’d imagine.
We work in groups that let us track your progress and give you the attention you deserve. Every class has structure, progression and important corrections so you can feel your improvement… No two classes are the same.
Who is it for?
For those starting from scratch, for those who use it to complement other disciplines, and for those who simply enjoy mat Pilates practice. We provide everything else you need — all you have to bring is the will.
Mat Pilates HIIT + Suspension
Bringing together Pilates technique with the intensity of suspension training.
Dynamic, rhythmic classes that build strength, cardiovascular endurance and coordination at the same time.
If you get bored when the pace is too slow, this is your class. And if you’ve been doing HIIT for a while but feel you’re missing postural foundations, it’s for you too.
Who is it for?
For students with prior experience in Pilates or functional training who want more intensity without losing technique.
hypopressives
You’ve probably heard of them, but might not be quite sure what they actually are. Hypopressive exercises are a postural and breathing technique that works the pelvic floor and abdominal wall from the inside, with no impact and no abdominal pressure. No classic crunches. No brute force. Everything comes from breathing and posture.
The result is more toned, more functional and more conscious internal musculature, which translates into benefits that go far beyond the physical: better posture, more stability, less lower-back discomfort, and a real connection with your body.
Who is it for?
Especially recommended after childbirth, for people with incontinence, prolapse or abdominal diastasis, particularly beneficial for high-impact athletes, and for anyone who wants to improve their posture and alignment.
If you’re unsure whether this technique is right for you, get in touch and we’ll figure it out together.
yoga
Yoga at Alicia Pilates isn’t out of reach. It’s practice.
Here you’ll find classes that combine conscious movement, breathing and mindfulness, adapted to all levels and stages of life.
If you already practise Pilates, yoga is the ideal complement: it works on flexibility, focus, and the calm you need so much once you step out the door.
Who is it for?
For all levels. Whether you’ve never set foot on a mat or you’ve been practising for years and are looking for something different. We guide and support you from the very first moment.
Functional Training
Your body doesn’t need complicated machines. It needs to learn to move well: push, pull, squat, rotate, stabilise. Those are the patterns you use every day — and exactly what we work on here.
Functional training means moving better, gaining real, applicable strength — the kind that lets you carry the shopping without hurting your back, climb stairs without losing your breath, or perform better in the sport you play. Strength that doesn’t stay in the studio: it goes with you.
We work with close attention to technique, because functionality without control isn’t functionality — it’s a risk. Here, every rep has a purpose.
Who is it for?
For those who want to go beyond Pilates or add real strength work to their practice. For those who’ve been putting off training for fear of doing it wrong. And for those who simply want to feel more capable in everyday life. All levels are welcome. We guide you.
